The Platinum Curve Stairlift is ideal for most curved staircases. It accommodates bends and landings and tightly hugs the staircase to be as unobtrusive as possible. Powered by a PMDC motor and supported by battery backup it provides users with a smooth ride that continues even in the event of a mains failure. Its twin rail mechanical levelling system also ensures a smooth and comfortable journey around corners.

Comfortable to ride, the Curve has a plump padded swivel seat with cushioning. The seat can also be motorised if required to automatically rotate at the top of the stairs for easier dismounting. It incorporates a retractable seat belt as standard to help the passenger feel safe as they alight or descend their stairs and an easy to use joystick and remote controls to call the lift when required.

Other safety features include a footrest (this can be powered for users who have difficulty bending) and a carriage with pressure sensors that stop the lift should it meet an obstruction en route.
