Carony Turnout System

The Carony Turnout is a unique, easily operated and dockable transport wheelchair with variations for those who can, and cannot, wheel themselves. It consists of a wheel unit and a dockable chair which is used both inside and outside of the vehicle.

The aim of this system is to eliminate the lifting of passengers into and out of the vehicle. A couple of manual operations move the chair and the passenger from the wheel unit into the vehicle, with the wheel unit being stored in the boot when not in use.

The Carony can be used as a regular wheelchair and is designed for sitting-comfort and has a large variety of accessories for various needs and functions.

Ransome Mobility Solutions can install this unit to almost any vehicle and combine it if necessary with a turnout swivel base in the case of high-sill vehicles such as minibuses. All installations are made by our trained engineers and are tested to make sure that they provide a reliable and viable solution for the customer.
