This slimline design allows space for other users or family members to pass on the stairs and the seat, arms and footrest can be folded away after use to save on space.
This practical curved rail stairlift can travel downwards at a 45 degree angle which is especially beneficial if the user has difficulty bending their knees or when a staircase is narrow. The Van Gogh fits to the external bend of the stairs and the Rembrandt fits to the internal bend.
Both models have the same superb features which include an easy to use joystick control which can be placed to the left or right hand side of the stairlift, depending on the preference of the user. The Freelift benefits from two remote controls which is ideal if more than one household member needs to use the stairlift. It also comes with an independent key switch as standard to stop unauthorised use, such as children playing with the stairlift. A manual swivel seat allows for easy dismounting and the fully padded seat is available in a range of options to blend easily with almost any home décor.
The Freelift is available with a range of feature options such as an electrically operated swivel seat, for those who prefer this option over a manual one. Other options include a linked footrest, so there is no need to bend down to fold it up after use. It is also available with a fully automatic power-hinged track to clear hallways and doors. A retractable seatbelt is available as standard.
